AMINO ACID ANALYSIS SERVICE
Within Ansynth Service B.V., 40 years Amino Acid Analysis experience is available
with respect to the analysis of:
- Physiological, metabolic samples (plasma, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, amniotic fluid, seminal fluid, faeces, tissue extracts and homogenates, hair, etc.)
- Fruit juices, soft drinks, beer, wort, dairy food products, milk products or many other food stuffs
- Feed , fodder and silage
- Leaves, petals and seeds
- Protein or peptide based (pharmaceutical) products
- Synthetic peptides
Analyses are performed with Biochrom Amino Acid Analysers using classical ion-exchange liquid chromatography with post-column Ninhydrin derivatisation and photometric detection. Li-Citrate as well as Na-Citrate buffer system elution is used to cover the total Amino Acid Analysis field.
Samples originating from GMP production processes are analysed according to the relevant Ph. Eur. monographs.
Ansynth Service B.V. is licensed as a contract laboratory for quality control testing, and is considered to comply with the principles and guidelines of GMP/GcLP.
Free and Total (bound) amino acids can be analysed. For Total Amino Acid Analysis, we perform:
- Acid hydrolysis for most of the amino acids
- Oxidation followed by acid hydrolysis for cyst(e)ine and methionine
- Alkaline hydrolysis for tryptophan. Tryptophan is estimated by reversed phase HPLC

Apart from testing sample amino acids against a standard solution containing 39 amino acids, we also perform custom based analysis and method development. Therefore we are able to analyse special amino compounds as:

Analysis results will be presented by means of a Certificate of Analysis (CoA), Where applicable the CoA will be in a format and layout of your choice. CoA's will be sent by regular Postal Service, E-mail or Fax, usually within 2 - 5, or maximal 10 working days after receipt of the samples.
